AoS Disciples of Tzeentch: Lord of Change

If you’re looking for a model that immediately becomes the centerpiece of your Disciples of Tzeentch army, the Lord of Change is a very strong choice. This Warhammer Age of Sigmar miniature looks imposing, elegant, and threatening all at once, making it appealing to both Players and Collectors. The multipart plastic kit not only makes a striking impression, but also offers plenty of scope for building a project of your own. If you’re looking for an eye-catching Chaos model with a distinct Tzeentch character, this is an excellent choice.

Many buyers choose the Lord of Change when they’re not looking for just any model, but a true centerpiece for their army. This makes particular sense if you want to build your Tzeentch Collection around a central large model. Compared with smaller units, this kit makes a much bigger impact on the table and in the display cabinet. So if you already have a foundation and are now looking for a figure that visually brings everything together, the Lord of Change is exactly the kind of model that marks this next step.

A particular plus is that you can also build Kairos Fateweaver from the box. This makes the kit more flexible for Collectors and Players, since you are not limited to a single depiction. Those who carefully plan their Disciples of Tzeentch army can choose the figure that better suits their list or Collection. For many hobbyists, having this choice is a key reason to buy, because they get more than just a single model.

In the game, the Lord of Change serves as a striking centerpiece miniature. If you want to do more than fill your Disciples of Tzeentch army with standard models and instead create a strong focal point, this kit is a great fit. The miniature immediately commands attention on the table and brings exactly the kind of Chaos presence many Players look for in Tzeentch. For those who want a visually compelling figurehead, this is a very cohesive choice.

Large Tzeentch figures have a special place in the Collection because their shape and presence make them stand out. The Lord of Change belongs in exactly this category. Anyone who specifically collects Warhammer Age of Sigmar characters and monster figures will find a model with a great deal of individuality here. The 160 mm round base also helps make the figure stand out on display. For Collectors, this is appealing because the model can be not only part of an army but also a striking display piece.

The multi-part plastic kit gives you plenty of room to make your own choices during assembly. This is especially enjoyable if you want to do more than simply put the model together and would rather give it a distinctive look. Since the figure comes unpainted and unassembled, you can tailor the Lord of Change closely to your style. Its size and presence make it a rewarding project for painters, and it will make a striking display piece once finished. These are exactly the kinds of projects many experienced hobbyists seek out.

If you’re deciding between a large model and smaller units, start by asking yourself what you want to achieve. Smaller models are usually better for building an army, while the Lord of Change serves as a visual centerpiece. That’s why players looking to enhance the theme and appearance of their Disciples of Tzeentch army often pick up this model first once they have the basics covered. A smaller model can sometimes be more practical for calculating game points, but it’s less suited to creating a cohesive overall look for the army. The large model is a much more impressive choice here.

The Lord of Change can be stored unopened, especially if you collect Warhammer boxes as complete products. In practice, though, most buyers open the kit quickly because it offers a lot of enjoyment as a major hobby project. For a Sealed Collection, what stands out is that the box is clearly associated with the Tzeentch faction and feels especially cohesive with its two possible build options. If you’re looking for a centerpiece Chaos model, opening it is usually the more sensible choice.
